Message From Organizing Chairperson

It gives me immense pride and heartfelt joy to welcome you all to the “Golden Jubilee Conference” of the Indian Society of Periodontology (I.S.P.) to be held in the capital city of New Delhi from 17^th to 20^th December, 2025. This landmark event marks the 50 glorious years of our society’s resolute commitment in advancing the science and practice of Periodontology in India. Over the past five decades, the I.S.P. has grown from strength to strength, becoming the linchpin of oral health care, academic excellence, clinical ascent and a true professional camaraderie. It goes without saying that the credit for the current stature of ISP goes to the collaborative efforts of its more than 12,000 strong membership base.

This Golden Jubilee Conference is an opportunity for the Perio. fraternity of the country to reflect on our journey, honour the visionaries and stalwarts who laid the foundation of I.S.P. and nurtured it from a sapling to a huge tree, with its branches spread all over the country. This will also be an opportunity to renew our commitment to foster new ideas in the field of periodontal health care and research.

This milestone event also marks the dawn of a new era in the chapter of our journey, as we embrace our expanded identity as the “Indian Society of Periodontology and Implantology” – the single largest society of Implantologists in the country.

Over the past five decades, our society has stood as a beacon of knowledge, innovation and clinical excellence in the field of Periodontology. Now with the inclusion of Implantology – “a natural and a vital extension of our speciality” we shall be reaffirming our commitment to panoramic oral health care and advanced rehabilitation treatment modalities.

The organizing team of this Golden Jubilee Conference plans to have a comprehensive scientific extravaganza, featuring renowned national and international speakers, hands on workshops, panel discussions and lot more to quench the thirst of those who are ever ready to learn. Beyond the academic richness, this event also promises vibrant cultural exchanges in the vibrant and historic city of New Delhi. Let us join together to celeberate this historic milestone. Let us honour the past, engage with the present, and shape the future of “Periodontology and Implantology – together”.

As the organizing chairperson of this monumental event, I am deeply grateful to the I.S.P. leadership, the organizing team and each one of you for showing your faith in me and entrusting with this huge responsibility.
